Natural rubber has superior rebound, so the mat will provide the perfect stable cushion needed for all poses.  Made from open cell natural rubber, a biodegradable material that is sustainably harvested from rubber trees and manufactured without hazardous phthalate plasticizers and PVC, this yoga mat is not only safer for your health and our environment, but also provides outstanding performance.  Nothing feels or grips like a yoga mat made of natural rubber!  Additionally, this is the only natural rubber mat that has a natural, renewable, and biodegradable inner stability mesh.  Most internal mesh fabric used in other mats is synthetic from polypropelene, polyester or nylon, while the Natural Fitness rubber yoga mats use a natural cotton mesh that will "completely" and safely biodegrade in a landfill.
