Use our 15' grounding cord for optimum results in dissipating static electricity from your anti-static mat. This grounding cord pain wire connects an ESD mat to a building's electrical ground through a snap placed on the corner of the mat. The grounding cord has a 1 MegOhm resistor in it and a dome cap to prevent tripping. Grounding wire gauge is 115 mil.

One end of the grounding cord is connected to the mat (by pressing snapping it onto a snap that is attached to the corner of the mat) and the other end of the cord will be inserted through round grounding prong on a standard electrical plug that will be plugged into a wall outlet (to dissipate the static discharge).

The grounding cord is available by itself if your mat already has a snap installed, or you can purchase the cord along with a snap that you can self-install into a corner of the mat.
